FFXII - Walkthrough - Great Crystal
The trick to keep in mind... you'll want Way Stone numbers in decreasing numbers, eventually getting to Way Stone I. You start at Way Stone VIII.
A Prama Vikaari: Three paths - one leading up, one down, and one sealed. Take the path DOWN.
Kabonii Jilaam Pratii'vaa: Only one path here... go down.
Kabonii Jilaam Avaa: Again, only one path, leading down, follow it.
Dha Vikaari Bhrum: Way Stone VII is here! Touch it.
A Vikaari Kabonii: You teleported from Way Stone VII to Way Stone VI. There are paths on the left, middle and right. Take the left one, which leads down.
Sthaana Cancer: Touch the Gate Stone, and return up the path you just came from.
A Vikaari Kabonii: Once again, you're in an area with paths on the left, middle and right... this time, take the right one (it also leads down)
Bhrum Pis Pratii: Straight ahead.
Dha Vikaari Trahk: Way Stone V! Touch it.
A Vikaari Bhrum: You teleported from Way Stone V to Way Stone IV. Three paths here... two side-by-side leading up and down, and a third which is sealed. Take the path leading up.
Trahk Jilaam Praa'dii: Go straight on up.
Sthaana Aries: Gate stone! Touch it, and return to A Vikaari Bhrum (just a straightforward backtrack)
A Vikaari Bhrum: The sealed path is still sealed. This time, take the path leading down.
Trahk Pis Praa: One path here, leading down... take it.
Sthaana Pisces: Touch the gate stone, and take the path leading up - not the one you just came from, but the other one! (you'll be able to tell since the path you came from is still lit up, while the other is invisible/untouched.
Dha Vikaari Jula: Way Stone III! Excellent. Touch it.
Crystal Core: You arrvive at Way Stone II... go down the path. A save crystal, and Way Stone I - SAVE YOUR GAME!!! Then touch the Way Stone... new area, and a boss fight. Not just a boss fight, but an Esper fight!

Attacks: Regular (~300, chance of Disease), Shock (~2500), Mana Spring (?), Flare (~3000), Enrage (phys atk up), Silencega, Chain Magick

LP to acquire:
At HP Critical, does Chain Magick... defence & strength get jacked up at HP Critical, so wrap it up with - you guessed it - a nice quickening combo.
Once it's done, head forward to the final way stone, and a bevy of cutscenes. You get a new sword, the Treaty-Blade, and your next destination is set - go back to Reddas' place at Balfonheim. Touch the Way Stone to get warped back up to Giruvegan's entrance, and use the teleport crystal to teleport there.
