Walk up the pyramid stairs to fight the gargoyles.

| The important thing here is that you have to kill both gargoyles at the same time, if not, the dead one will just be revived. Strong magic like Aqua Rake or Coin Toss are very good for killing both at once. | ||||
Watch out for this pyramid. It's very large and you only having 3 characters in your party, so I'll cut out the treasures and secret passages (when Reina rejoins, the pyramid with all its 28 treasure chests is worth a visit).
Enter the pyramid and go left, through the door. Go up the the staricase and then down the next one, a door behind you will close. Push the three buttons to open all the doors and walk up the next two stairs (watch out, they are sliding). Open the coffin and walk through, kill the mummies (use fire attacks), then up stairs and save. Go down the path on the right, climb the stairs. Push the buttons to shut down the sand waterfalls and walk up the stairs down there. Up the next pair of stairs and avoid the moving holes. Walk up another two stairs and you finally arrive at the room with the litograph. Take it and watch the scene.
Now that the characters are under your control again, leave the pyramid and head towards the ancient pyramid. Once you step into the Elder's Forest again, X-Death shows up again and you have to fight one of his friends.

| Don't use physical attacks or the $toss, both will cause no damage. She's only weak against one element at time (fire ice etc.). When she does a wallchange, she changes the element she is weak against. Now there are two ways of defeating her: scan her every time she does a wallchange and attack then or you can use non-elemental spells like Comet. | ||||
Reina rejoins your party, and you will have to make your way to the docked ship you saw in one of the sequences before. Now that you have your ship back, navigate to Kuza Castle.
