FFV - Walkthrough - N-Zone

Treasure
Blood Sword, Coral Ring, Cottage, Dark Matter, Dragon Fang, 2 elixir, Enchanter, Ether, Man-Eater, Omega Badge, Power Rod, Prism Dress, Red Shoes, Ribbon, Thor's Hammer, Winged Shoes

1st Section

There is nothing special about this sandy area, the monsters are "weak" and there is a linear way through this place. Just keep on walking through the doors.

2nd section

Monsters will be a lot stronger now, so watch out. Climb down the chains and open the four chests for Cottage, Ether, Elixir and a Dark Matter. Head through the door at the bottom of the room, and climb down another pair of chains, then walk right and climb up the next chains. Right chain for an Elixir, left one leads further on. The chest on the right side of the next room contains a Blood Sword. Walk through the door in the middle and down the chains.

3rd section

This is a completely pointless section. All you can do here is heal yourself at the healing fountain and then head on.

4th section

This section is very similar to the Moore Forest, so watch out for its annoying enemies. There are four chests in this area ( Dragon Fang, Power Rod, Ribbon, Enchanter ). They are very hard to find, since this area is very large. Just keep on searching if you want to find them. Once you see a tree with a small hole in it, you know what to do. Enter the now opened passage.

BOSS 41: WoodSprite Level 68 HP 18000
Attack her physically and she will counter with Drain (500 hp). Attack her with spells and she will cast Reflect one herself. The trick would now be to use non refelctable spells or reflect them from your own team. This is a long battle, so just be patient.

5th section

Walk down the pair of stairs at the entrance and cross the ledge. Enter the room and take the coral ring with you. Leave the room through the door on the right and save your game. Head on and watch out that you don't run into omega. He's one of the two optional secret-bosses. You won't have a chance against him yet, so just avoid him and head right. Leave this section through the upper door.

6th section

Just read the book on the table.

BOSS 42: Apprehendr Level 59 HP 22200
This fight shouldn't be that difficult. Just watch out for his Magic Hammer, which will half your MP. If he's using Protes, you should cast Dispel, or just attack him with spells. Fire3 does good here.

7th section

This place is 100% linear, and there is nothing special around.

8th section

Enter the tower on the right for the Winged Shoes, and the one on the left for Thor's Hammer. In the hall, you have to walk down the stairs on the back. Down here talk with the person in the lower left cell.

BOSS 43: Azulmagia Level 57 HP 27900
He will mostly be using blue magic, so watch out and learn. Try to kill him as fast as possible, because he might use his White Wind. You have two choices, you can kill him by using Bio spells and attacks, or you can kill him by casting Exploder on him.

Save your game and head right and fight the monsters.

BOSS 44: Alte Roit Level 58 HP 6000
                JuraAvis Level 61 HP 15000
If he uses his Encircle attack to remove a character, just cast Return. There isn't anything else to say about him. He hasn't that much HP, so you won't have any problems beating him. Once JuraAvis joins the battle, just keep on using Odin.

Open the two chests for a Prism Dress and Red Shoes, then head to the upper right cell.

BOSS 45: Catastroph Level 71 HP 19997
This fight is very easy. Keep on casting Float on your characters. Catastroph will be using Gravity 100 all the time then, to dispel Float. Once you waste all of Catastroph's turns by using Float, you can kill him easily. But be sure to use Soft on petrified characters.

Rescue the woman, and walk up the stairs in the cell you found her in. Head left from here and climb down the stairs for a Man-Eater, then go back and step through the door. Head up and walk left.

BOSS 46: Halycanos Level 97 HP 33333
He will turn you entire team into frogs at the beginning of the battle (make your team frogs before the battle to avoid this). Once he casts Holy you'll probably be dead, because it does more then 9000 damage. The way to kill him is to use strong spells like Holy, Meteo, etc. Just don't use summons. He'll counter if you do.

Walk back and save, then step through the door, and head up.

BOSS 47: Twin Tania Level 39 HP 50000
Cast Guardian first, so his Tidal Wave and Megaflare attacks won't do that much damage to you. If you keep on using Holy attacks, this battle won't be that difficult (Excalibur Sword and Holy Lance are very helpful here).

Climb up the stairs and be teleported to the Void.
